What we do with the information you give us, in plain English. We ask for as little as we can, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

A1 Media Logic is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us about anything on this page at [email protected], and we will answer within one month, as the law requires.

What we collect

Only what you type into the free audit form:

  • the services you are interested in, and your sector
  • your business name, town or area, and your website or social link
  • when you would like to start, and anything else you tell us
  • your name, email address and, if you give one, your phone number
  • whether you would rather we replied by email or phone

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build profiles, and we do not buy or sell contact lists. We have no analytics on this site at the moment; if we add any, this page will say so before it goes live.

Why we use it

To prepare the free audit you asked for and to reply to you about it. That is the only reason. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before you send the form. You can withdraw it at any time and we will stop.

If you become a client, we keep using your details to run the work you have asked us to do. The lawful basis then is the contract between us.

How long we keep it

Audit requests are deleted after 12 months if you do not become a client. Records for clients are kept for six years after the last piece of work, because tax rules require it.

Who else sees it

Only the people who need to, and only to run the site and our email:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and passes your form on to us. Cloudflare briefly sees your IP address in its security logs.
  • Google Workspace is our email. Your request and our reply sit in our mailboxes there.
  • Our email delivery provider sends the confirmation copy to you and the alert to us.
  • Google Fonts and cdnjs serve the typefaces and one animation library used by the site. Your browser requests those files directly, so those services see your IP address. They set no cookies.

Some of these providers are outside the UK. Where they are, the transfer relies on the UK's approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Ask through the free audit form or the email address above and we will answer within one month, free of charge.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change how we use your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
